Our Process

Aim of our process is to create safe spaces to give children of trauma the courage to imagine an alternative future.

Emotions are real when a child is listening to stories because their thinking capacity is enhanced. They begin to feel for the characters, get involved in their lives, and

understand their struggles.

This helps them develop feelings like empathy, compassion, happiness among others. In addition it helps visualize spoken words, improved vocabulary, and more refined communication skills.

Safe Haven Libraries to
Unleash Imagination

Power of stories is taken to orphanages and schools for disabilities by converting spaces into libraries. These transformed rooms become safe spaces for children to listen to stories being read aloud weekly by our volunteers, explore the books and participate in informal groups conducting creative activities to discuss and talk about what the stories mean to them on an emotional and practical level.
