Deb Tobin Davidson is our Manager of the Bookwallah Studio and Bookwallah Blog. Deb is a writer, performer, director, and educator. She served as creative consultant for the critically acclaimed Indie short film Making Changes and currently is the director of an innovative science summer camp for young people, coordinator of cultural enrichments for several local schools, and regional board member for the global Destination Imagination program.
An avid reader from an early age, she credits books with piquing her interest to explore endlessly. Her parents encouraged her to read and visit the library often, and provided her with ready access to books and a safe environment in which to read them. She believes that children given opportunity will rise to any occasion. Debra also credits her affection for the written word with her eventual decision to earn a bachelor's degree in theatrical arts at Ohio University. Her husband is an attorney with a bachelor's degree in creative writing and literature, and their children are voracious readers. Debra and her family reside in Cincinnati, Ohio, but books and imagination allow them to travel the universe.
