The Bookwallah Buddy program allows students, teachers, classrooms, and communities to assist the Bookwallah Organization by collecting and providing storybooks to children of orphanages throughout the world. This program can provide a tremendous and rewarding benefit to children everywhere; connecting them through the giving and receiving of books. Sharing the gift of imagination!
The Bookwallah Buddy program is designed to be as personable, direct, and transparent as possible. You will know where the donations are sent.
The United States Post Office has made it extremely cost-effective to ship books to our central office. A 30lb box (which can hold 70-100 books) costs about $14 USD to ship within the United States. We have put together a simple step- by-step book drive kit (Adobe PDF) to help you get started.
